Moderator Applications (CLOSED)

With a new forum comes new moderators, and we need 'em.

So, do you think you have what it takes to be partially responsible for the clean-up of the inevitable filth that lurks in these darkened forums? Then why not apply to be a moderator!

Prior to applying, we ask that you have a minimum of ten posts.

At this moment of time, being that we are starting off fresh, there are positions open for TWO moderators. If you aren't selected, do not be discouraged, as in the future we will be looking for more mods as our community grows!

Past experience: Eddsworld Forums moderator, super-admin/forum manager for two gaming communities, been bringing justice to trolls, assholes, and rulebreakers alike in various communities for well over two years now.
Why you think you should be a mod: Once a mod, always a mod. I enjoyed banning spam bots and helping to bring order to the Eddsworld Company.
Skills you have that complement your wanting to be a mod: Experience admining forums, helped Kyh when she was the admin. Also a very justice oriented mind.

Why you think you should be a mod: Apparently I was good at it. I 'dunno.
Skills you have that complement your wanting to be a mod: Patience. Oh and also no social life.

Past experience: Been a mod on a website a few years back, but it was a small forum among friends, so I really can't that.
Why you think you should be a mod: I may not have shown it, but I've always had a love for the forums. I made countless friends here/there/everywhere, and I would love to do anything I can to keep this place in order.
Skills you have that complement your wanting to be a mod: I'm unbiased when it comes to someone misbehaving, and I'm not afraid to speak my mind about something or someone.

Past experience: Well I used to be a moderator on the youmacon forums so that counts as experience.
Why you think you should be a mod: I have experience and am one of the past forum members SO I KNOW WHAT GOES DOWN AROUND HERE.
Skills you have that complement your wanting to be a mod: I program computers, grammar skills, can get to the point whilst still being cordial.
Your ideal date: My bed. Playing Video games or on tumblr.

Past experience: i have Moderated and admined a few of forums of communities i am part of. This not only included forums but game servers also which require a fast reaction time. I was a moderator for a minecraft community called blocktopia for 2 and a half years, i am also a moderator on a an upcoming game forums called starmade.
Why you think you should be a mod: I have quite alot of experence dealing with situations which require careful decision and compromise. However, i also know how to judge a situation so as not to jump in with a ban hammer when there is no need to.
Skills you have that complement your wanting to be a mod: I have the ability to look at situations before jumping in which can be key to moderation of a forums and chat box. I will jump on an escalating and do what needs to be done regardless of personal relationship with the people involved.

Past experience: Moderator on various websites, ex graphic designer on thekingofhate.com and admin of a Nintendo news website for a short time.
Why you think you should be a mod: I know how to abide by rules, throwing in a little sarcasm every now and again so as not to look too cold or serious.
Skills you have that complement your wanting to be a mod: Photoshop, HTML and minor CSS coding and a sense of humour. I also like to listen to people if they need to vent.
Your ideal date: Just this really, with food.

Past experience: Moderated the old forums, have also run several other forums and currently am working on piecing an old alliance back together in a game. Also work at a customer service desk.
Why you think you should be a mod: I can handle things a little more logically/rationally than most people (this is based on experience "IGNORE THEM" -bickerbicker-), as well as I am on often enough to actually deal with things. I do not brush an issue off for someone else to take care of.
Skills you have that complement your wanting to be a mod: I'm patient, organised, and generally deal with things in a logical manner; nor do I pick favourites. I do not seek to embarrass people when they have done something wrong and will more often than not PM them instead of posting a warning (excluding a topic-wide flame war, really, that just gets a verbal smack on the wrist and a lock).
Your ideal date: Pizza, and a movie/video game. Best date ever.

I can also take Megan on an IRL date because of how close we live to each other

Past experience: I was a mod on here for a while (hehehehe) and I admin'd an RP forum a while back. Was also a mod for a small poetry site that shut down.
Why you think you should be a mod: Excellent and delivering justice, level-headed, I never take sides.
Skills you have that complement your wanting to be a mod: I'm fuckin' smart yo and good at debating. Pwn ur a$$ any day of tha w33k!1!! I'm an effective propagandist and ebil mastermind.
